CUPRA IS MAKING THE ONLY DRIVER’S PLUG-IN hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) in its class even more attainable, with a special run-out offer on the model year 2024 (MY24) Formentor VZe from $47,990 driveaway complete with the leather and camera package, and panoramic sunroof included.

On 1 April 2025, the federal government’s Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) exemption for PHEVs came to an end, and in response Cupra has introduced its own Cupra e-Hybrid Subsidy for the Formentor VZe – a nationwide drive-away offer designed to support customers during this transition. While not a direct replacement for the government’s FBT exemption, this initiative reflects Cupra’s commitment to keeping electrified mobility accessible, especially as PHEVs continue to grow in popularity across the range.

This special offer now delivers a European-designed, -engineered and -built crossover SUV with a complete focus on design, technology and dynamics, all for an incredible entry price with a high level of standard equipment.

For design, the Cupra Formentor is unmistakably alluring with an edgy and muscular look that transcends the styling of typical SUVs.

For technology, the Formentor VZe can travel around 50km on a single charge (with Mode 2 and Mode 3 cables included), with combined-cycle fuel consumption of  1.9L/100km.

It also arrives complete with keyless entry and start, hands-free power tailgate, full LED headlights with Light Assist Auto High Beam, LED tail-lights with dynamic turn signal, heated leather-appointed steering wheel, tri-zone climate control, 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit, 12-inch Infotainment with navigation and Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Wireless Phone Charging and DAB+ Digital Radio. The included leather and camera package adds Nappa leather interior with power-adjustable driver’s seat and heating, while a panoramic sunroof is also included.

And, for dynamics, the Formentor VZe is unsurpassed in its segment: the acclaimed turbocharged petrol four-cylinder engine combines with an electric motor to deliver a system output of 180kW and 400Nm, with a six-speed wet clutch Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG), paddleshifters; and the cornering prowess of 19-inch Alloy Wheels and Dynamic Chassis Control adaptive suspension.

Front and rear parking sensors with Park Assist, Tyre Pressure Warning System, Front Assist with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection, Side Assist with Exit Assist, Driver Fatigue Monitor, Emergency Assist and semi-autonomous Travel Assist incorporating Adaptive Cruise Control and active Lane Assist is also standard.

The Cupra Formentor VZe runout is on now.
