WITH A WIDER RANGE INCLUDING a hybrid and a seven-seater option, Honda has released full pricing and specs for its refreshed CR-V range.

The expansion of Honda’s revered e:HEV hybrid engine across the wider range is timely as more Australians pay close attention to the range and efficiency of their car. CR-V’s innovative e:HEV utilises a 2.0-litre four-cylinder Atkinson engine paired with a two-motor hybrid system, delivering self-charging electrified driving of over 1,000km between stops at the bowser.

Complementing CR-V’s hybrid expansion are a raft of upgrades including the introduction of 2nd Gen Honda Connect with Google Built-in across the hybrid and petrol range. On select grades, we have a 360-degree camera, head-up display, and creature comforts such as heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats.

The 2026 CR-V range is available to order online or the nearest Honda Centre, priced from $44,900 with the hybrid range from $49,990 (both plus on road costs), representing a $10,000 lower price of entry when compared to the 2025 CR-V range.

Honda Australia Director of Automotive, Robert Thorp said, “CR-V’s smooth and responsive hybrid powertrain paired with the direct and confidence-inspiring handling found in all Hondas, is a thrill no longer reserved for the top of range.”

“Australians are choosing hybrids in record numbers and with our e:HEV, we know we have one of the best there is in both power delivery and economy”.

“Expanding e:HEV down the range means you can now get into a hybrid CR-V for less. Add in hybrid AWD and there really is an option for everybody.”

Adding to the value offered across the CR-V range, comes the peace of mind customers get when climbing into a Honda, receiving five years unlimited kilometre warranty, five years roadside assistance and five low price services valued at $199.

A best-selling family favourite

First released in Japan in 1995 before arriving on Australian shores in 1997, the CR-V was one of the first compact SUVs on the market and offered a spacious interior and comfortable ride, achieving exactly what the name promised – a Comfortable Runabout Vehicle.

CR-V is one of the best-selling family SUVs in key markets since its 1995 introduction.

  • Honda CR-V has sold over 244,000 in Australia since its introduction in 1997
  • Honda CR-V is the US’s best-selling compact SUV over the past 28 years.
  • Honda CR-V US sales surpassed 400,000 in 2025
  • Over 13.5 million CR-Vs have been sold globally since 1995
