OMODA JAECOO WILL MAKE A GRAND DEBUT at the 2025 Shanghai International Automobile Exhibition with its brand-new NEV (New Energy Vehicle) family, including the C7 SHS, C5 SHS, and J5 BEV.

The cutting-edge SHS (Super Hybrid System) technology first seen in the midsize J7 SUV, will now filter down into the OMODA C5 and C7.

Utilising the same fifth-generation 1.5TGDI Dedicated Hybrid Engine (DHE) and an advanced Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), the OMODAS will deliver a total driving range of 1200km.

As a Plug-In Hybrid, the SHS system combines many of the benefits of both an EV and a hybrid without the drawbacks. It provides silent, swift acceleration in full-electric mode, or can switch to hybrid-petrol mode for long-range efficiency and quick refuelling.

The JAECOO J5 BEV will also be revealed, providing another sustainable driving option within the brand’s model line-up.

More information will follow after the cars’ debut next week.
