AMPLIFYING THE SPORTING character of the C 43 even further is the new Mercedes-AMG C 43 Edition R+, bringing distinctive visual enhancements, while maintaining its core performance credentials.

Sharper exterior presence

A defining feature of the Edition R+ is the introduction of the AMG Styling Package, offered for the first time on the C 43. The package sharpens the vehicle’s visual identity through a series of high-gloss black aerodynamic elements that emphasise its performance character.

At the front, a distinctive AMG front apron features a high-gloss black front splitter and flics around the air inlets, creating a more assertive and dynamic appearance. At the rear, a larger AMG spoiler lip finished in high-gloss black sits on the boot lid.

The AMG rear apron incorporates a high-gloss black diffuser board and flics within the side air outlets. Its design is adopted directly from the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E PERFORMANCE, creating a closer visual link to AMG’s performance-focused C-Class model.

Combined with the darkened detailing of the standard Night Package and Night Package II, the Edition R+ delivers a cohesive and purposeful design.

Performance-focused engineering

Carried over from the Mercedes-AMG C 43, the AMG DYNAMIC PLUS Package and AMG TRACK PACE are also standard on the Mercedes-AMG C 43 Edition R+.

The AMG DYNAMIC PLUS package enhances dynamic capabilities through the inclusion of AMG dynamic engine mounts, a selectable ‘RACE’ driving program for track use in addition to ‘Sport’ and ‘Sport+’, and an AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather and MICROCUT microfibre.

Complementing this, AMG TRACK PACE records more than 80 vehicle-specific data points for circuit driving and analysis, reinforcing the edition’s performance-oriented focus.

Power is delivered by the AMG 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with electric exhaust gas turbocharger and 48-volt technology, producing up to 310 kW and 500 Nm, paired with the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission.

Comprehensive equipment

The Edition R+ shares many of the key standard specifications offered previously with the C 43 Edition R. This includes the latest-generation MBUX multimedia system with MBUX Navigation Premium displayed on an 11.9-inch central touchscreen, the Burmester 3D surround sound system, head-up display, and a panoramic sliding sunroof.

Continuing as standard, the model features the AMG Exterior Night Package and Night Package II with extended black design elements. Furthermore, the 20-inch AMG 10-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels painted in matt black with high-sheen finish coupled with red brake callipers, complete the bold exterior statement.

Ensuring precise handling and composure, AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with adaptive damping and rear-axle steering also remain part of the standard specification.

The Mercedes-AMG C 43 Edition R+ is fitted with driver and front passenger AMG Performance seats, offering exceptional lateral support for particularly dynamic driving manoeuvres. They feature pronounced side bolsters, fully electric adjustment with memory function, integrated seat heating, and “AMG” lettering on the seat backrests, complemented by matt black trim elements. The Edition R+ AMG Performance Seats combine ARTICO man-made leather in Nappa look with MICROCUT microfibre.

The result is a sharply defined addition to the C-Class range, combining the established performance and technology of the C 43 with a distinct equipment profile.

The Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC Edition R+ will be offered in Australia in limited numbers only.

Pricing

The new Mercedes-AMG C 43 Edition R+ is on sale at Australian dealerships from 1 May 2026 with a price of $121,200 (plus on road costs). Until June 30, Mercedes-Benz Financial is offering a 1.4% comparison rate p.a on the new Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC Edition R+.
