THE RANGE OF LARGE MERCEDES-BENZ SUVs continues to expand with the announcement of the new GLB, with generous space for up to seven people, and striking off-road design with true functionality. The high-quality, radically redesigned interior with its new Superscreen sets new standards. The future GLB is more than just a vehicle; it is the most versatile everyday hero, offering room for spontaneity and going far beyond pure practicality. As the most intelligent companion, it supports its driver in a highly intuitive way – just get in and drive off. And its distinctive new look gives it a confident and charismatic aura.

“The all-new GLB is built for everyday life. Available as a five-or seven-seater, it adapts effortlessly to our customers’ needs. With more space, a new design, greater comfort, and even the ability to tow a full-size caravan, it proves that an electric compact SUV can be as versatile as it is capable,” said Mathias Geisen, Member of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, responsible for Sales and Marketing.

“The all-new GLB embodies our philosophy of Sensual Purity in a particularly powerful way. It expands our Entry Luxury portfolio and ushers the iconic Mercedes-Benz design into a new era. With its sculptural proportions, emotional light signature, and modern architectural interior — an SUV with character, sensual, and soul,” commented Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer, Mercedes-Benz Group AG.

The market launch of the GLB 250+ with EQ Technology will start in the spring of 2026. With a reassuring range of up to 631 kilometres (WLTP). the 200 kW GLB 250+ offers a range that is unrivalled in its class. The sporty top-of-the-line model is the 260 kW GLB 350 4MATIC. Both models feature a lithium-ion battery with a usable energy capacity of 85kWh. And with a state-of-the-art 800-volt electric architecture, up to 260 kilometres of range (WLTP) can be added in just ten minutes. The model range will soon be expanded to include additional battery-electric variants, including an entry-level model as well as high-tech hybrids.
