KIA IS OFFERING AUSTRALIA ITS first look at the Seltos, its soon-to-be-launched small SUV.

The all-new Seltos will be sold in Australia in a mixture of variants to suit a wide range of customers’ needs and budgets, with all models being sold with a hybrid powertrain only. This is due to this powertrain meeting Euro 6d emission standards, future-proofing the model.

“Kia Australia is confident all‑new Seltos will build on the strong reputation of this familiar nameplate, while meeting the evolving needs of Australian new‑car buyers, many of whom are now seriously considering the move to a hybrid vehicle for the first time,” said Kia Australia Chief Executive Officer, Damien Merideth.

“We are confident that production from Korea factory ensures we can deliver a consistent and high-quality product, that our customers have come to expect from a Kia vehicle.”

“This new generation of the Seltos reinforces Kia’s commitment to expanding our electrified vehicle portfolio, delivering a more advanced package that will appeal to both private and fleet customers.”

Bold and progressive exterior design

Featuring Kia’s Opposites United design language, the all-new Seltos features a wide grille with Kia’s star map lighting, flush door handles, floating roofline and new rear taillight signature and design. Exterior dimensions have grown, allowing for a more spacious cabin and enhanced visual appearance.

Premium, connected and smartly packaged interior

The interior of the all-new Seltos has been heavily redesigned, bringing it up to date with the wider Kia range. Filled with premium materials, Seltos includes features such as two 12.3-inch screens, over-the-Air (OTA) software updates, column-type Shift-by-Wire (SBW), and second row reclining seats adjustable by a total of 24 degrees (12 degrees forward and backward).

Driving performance, dynamics and safety

All-new Seltos will arrive exclusively with a hybrid-only powertrain across all variants, introducing Kia’s Smart Regenerative Braking System 3.0. Australian specification Seltos will not include V2L but will instead offer a space saver spare on 2WD trims.

Built on Kia’s latest K3 platform, the new Seltos has undergone Kia Australia’s long-established local Ride & Handling Program, resulting in excellent ride and handling across both urban and rough country roads.

The all-new Seltos will come with a full suite of advanced driver-assistance systems, as customers would expect to see in a new Kia model – targeting a dual 4/5 star ANCAP rating.

Australian arrival

With all-new Seltos expected to reach Australian shores in Q4 2026, full specifications, features and pricing will be announced closer to launch.
