WE SEEM TO HAVE BEEN talking about the upcoming release of the Nissan Ariya electric SUV for quite some time, but it looks like it will finally arrive in showroom in September.

Australian customers can now place orders for the new Ariya via the Nissan Australia website or directly via Nissan’s Australian Dealer Network ahead of the Ariya’s on sale date at the beginning of September.

Local customers can choose from either 63kWh or 87kWh battery options, as well as a four-model grade line-up that includes multiple trim levels and configurations.

Standout features of the Nissan Ariya include:

Perfect proportions: With dimensions of 4595mm (length) and 1850mm (width excluding mirrors), and with a wheelbase of 2775mm, the Ariya’s dimensions make it both spacious and practical.

EV range: With a driving range spanning 385kms to 504kms, AC/DC charging speeds of up to 22kW and 130kW (the latter delivering a 10 to 80 percent charge in just 35 minutes), the ARIYA continues Nissan’s electric vehicle legacy in Australia.

e-4ORCE: The top trim of the Ariya is the first Nissan Battery Electric Vehicle in Australia to arrive with e-4ORCE technology, with the dual-motor electric all-wheel-drive technology managing power output and braking performance at each wheel, delivering smoothness and stability in all conditions.

Designed to thrill: Sleek, confident and seamless Japanese design is a hallmark of the Ariya.

Inner peace: Despite the Ariya’s city-friendly dimensions, its lounge-like interior is spacious, airy and calming.

A smarter drive: From ProPILOT (available on all trims) to e-4ORCE (available on the Evolve trim), the Ariya is equipped with the latest cutting-edge driving technology offered by Nissan in Australia today.

Power of choice: available with two battery options, 63kWh and 87kWh, both complete with a liquid-cooled active thermal management system.

Safety, always: The Ariya is equipped with a comprehensive list of Nissan Intelligent Mobility safety systems across every grade.

As Nissan’s latest electric vehicle, the Ariya follows in the footsteps of the Nissan LEAF — the world’s first mass-market Electric Vehicle.

“It’s exciting to see Nissan’s long history in the Australian electric vehicle space continue in the Ariya, which pairs incredible design, a clever and spacious interior, intelligent driving systems with advanced battery and motor technology to deliver a truly thrilling drive,” says Warwick Daly, Deputy Director Marketing & Mobility, Nissan Australia.

“Understandably, a lot of people have been waiting for the Ariya to arrive in Australia, and I’m so excited that customers can now place orders.”
