AS PART OF THE ŠKODA BATTERY ELECTRIC vehicle (BEV) new model offensive, the upgraded Enyaq range now starts from $50,990 (plus on road costs) or $54,990 driveaway to deliver segment-leading family SUV value.
Joining the agile and energetic Elroq 60 and 85 as a fresh and funky medium SUV BEV option, the refined and dynamic Enyaq 60 and 85 deliver a larger footprint for bigger families, more driving range and higher specification – with the same seven-year, unlimited kilometre warranty, and European design, engineering and build quality as its likewise Simply Clever sibling.
The Škoda Enyaq 60 Select delivers an outstanding entry price of $50,990 or $54,990 driveaway with 410km combined WLTP range in a new, larger SUV bodystyle not yet seen in Australia.
The Enyaq 85 Sportline takes the spacious SUV bodystyle and further adds amazing features such as Matrix LED headlights, power adjustable and heated front seats, plus 545Nm of torque and 547km combined WLTP range from $59,990 or $63,990 driveaway.
Plus, for the ultimate in style, the Enyaq Coupe enters a new era with adaptive chassis control, 21-inch alloy wheels, augmented reality head-up display, CANTON premium sound and 561km combined WLTP range from $65,990 or $68,990 driveaway as a single 85 Sportline.
Škoda also backs it with Guaranteed Future Value (GFV) via Škoda Financial Services with low interest rates (7.99 percent pa) and affordable repayments from between $163 (60 Select), $189 (85 Sportline) and $202 (Coupe) per week (five-year term, 15,000km per year, 20 percent deposit).
Škoda Australia Product Manager, Glenn Reid, said the upgraded Škoda Enyaq large SUV range both complements the Elroq medium SUV and stands out among non-European competitors both for driving pleasure, distinctive design and superb value.
“Škoda is here to not only compete, but with the new Enyaq exceed the value equation of large SUV electric offerings aimed directly at families,” Mr Reid said.
“This is a family SUV with 585 litres of luggage space, with up to 545Nm of torque, and up to 561km of WLTP range.
“The Škoda Enyaq is unchallenged with its ability to start from just over $50,000 as a European-designed, built and engineered SUV with a seven-year warranty. Competitors from the US, China and Korea cannot blend together this availability of price, torque, range and having items such as metallic paint and all cables included as standard for the price.”
For example, the Enyaq 60 Select undercuts a Tesla Model Y RWD by $8,000. The Enyaq 85 Sportline is just $1000 more than that rival, yet it delivers more torque, 81km extra WLTP range, cables and metallic paint included plus a much longer (seven versus four year) warranty.
All Škoda Enyaqs also are delivered to Australia comprehensively equipped.
Standard across the range is Škoda’s leading Travel Assist (which incorporates adaptive cruise control, Adaptive Lane Assist and Emergency Assist), Front Assist (with pedestrian and cyclist detection), Side Assist, Rear Traffic Alert, Exit Warning System, Turn Assist, Advanced Driver Fatigue Detection, Emergency Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, Proactive Occupant Protection, front and rear parking sensors with Manoeuvre Assist, a rear view camera and seven airbags.
Simply Clever items include a door-mounted umbrella, charging cable bag, luggage net system, adjustable cargo partitions, and a rear removeable storage caddy with cupholders.
Infotainment features are likewise extensive, with 13-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging with active ventilation, quad USB-C outputs with charging up to 45 watts, DAB+ digital radio and eight-speaker audio.
The 60 Select features 150kW, 310Nm, 0-100km/h in 8.1sec and with 19-inch ‘Regulus’ alloy wheels. Keyless entry and start, LED headlights with Light Assist function, rain sensing wipers, LED tail lights, heated front seats with Loft fabric design, leather-wrapped steering wheel, power tailgate with Virtual Pedal and tri-zone climate control air conditioning are also standard.
Two further options include 20-inch ‘Vega’ Alloy Wheels for $1000 extra, and a Signature Pack for $6000 – featuring Matrix LED headlights with Dynamic Light Assist, dynamic rear indicator function, illuminated Tech Deck grille, head-up display with Augmented Reality, CANTON Sound system with 12 speakers, Surround View Camera (360-degrees), power adjustable driver’s seat with memory and massage functions, power adjustable lumbar support front seats, and roll-up sunshade rear side windows.
The 85 Sportline moves to 210kW, 545Nm, 0-100km/h in 6.7sec and 20-inch ‘Vega’ alloy wheels. Also added are progressive steering, Matrix LED headlights with Dynamic Light Assist, power adjustable front seats with memory and massage, heated rear outboard seats, gear shift paddles for selectable brake energy recuperation and Sportline design including leather/Suedia trim.
Where the Signature Pack is coupled with Select specification, an Ultimate Package adds to the Sportline for $5000 extra – with Adaptive Chassis Control, head-up display with Augmented Reality, CANTON audio, Area View, Intelligent Park Assist, the illuminated Tech Deck grille and 21-inch ‘Supernova’ alloy wheels.
A panoramic glass sunroof with slide and tilt, pop-up wind deflector and electric sunblind is a further $2000 option.
The stylish and aerodynamically savvy Enyaq Coupe 85 Sportline now tops the range with the longest electric vehicle driving range and the features of the 85 Sportline with Ultimate Pack plus a fixed panoramic glass roof.
The Škoda Enyaq 85 is available in showrooms now, with the 60 Select available from November.
