COMPLETING ITS SUV RANGE IS Škoda’s flagship all-new Kodiaq RS, arriving as the ultimate combination of three-row versatility, intelligent packaging, upscale interior design and new standards of performance.

With the first-generation RS being a hit with sports-loving Australian families – accounting for up to 50 percent of Kodiaq sales – the second-generation Kodiaq RS arrives with 195kW, 400Nm, zero to 100km/h in 6.3 seconds and a $69,990 price (plus on road costs).

Befitting the sporting promise of the Škoda RS model line, a 20-inch ‘ALIAS’ black polished wheel and tyre package, Dynamic Chassis Control plus (DCC plus) with Driving Profile Selection and progressive steering deliver leading handling not seen among mainstream seven-seat SUVs.

Black-painted body accents across the sports front bumper and rear bumper, black roof rails, tinted rear and rear-side glass, dual polished stainless-steel exhaust tips and red brake callipers signify this as the sportiest Kodiaq.

Škoda also continues to deliver on its high-value messaging to customers, acknowledging the Australian customer preference for a high level of features and technology as standard.

The Škoda Kodiaq RS provides extensive equipment including Matrix LED headlights with adaptive high-beam, LED foglights with cornering function, LED tail lights with dynamic indicators, rear fog lights, keyless entry with approach/walk away locking, and power tailgate with Virtual Pedal.

Inside, a flat-bottom perforated leather heated sports steering wheel, auto lights and wipers, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, front sports seats with integrated headrests, RS Sport black perforated leather appointed upholstery, power adjustable heated and ventilated front seats with memory, heated rear seats and tri-zone climate control ensure luxury and sports combine.

Other RS signifiers inside include aluminium pedals and RS-exclusive red-stitch interior trim, further raising the elevated interior design of the second-generation Kodiaq – complete with Smart Dials, 10-inch Virtual Cockpit, 13-inch touchscreen infotainment with navigation and DAB+ radio, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, fast 15-watt dual wireless phone chargers with active ventilation, 360-degree camera, 13-speaker CANTON high-end audio, windscreen projection head-up display and 5x 45W USB-C sockets including a rear-view mirror port all as standard.

Also standard is Škoda’s leading Travel Assist (with adaptive cruise control, Traffic Jam Assist, Adaptive Lane Assist and Emergency Steering Assist), Front Assist (with pedestrian and cyclist detection), Side Assist, Front and Rear Traffic Alert, Exit Warning System, Traffic Sign Recognition, Turn Assist, Intelligent Park Assist and nine airbags.

Škoda product manager Aline Carrullo said the all-new Kodiaq RS delivered even more of what customers loved about the first-generation seven-seater.

“The Škoda Kodiaq RS has long delivered a unique blend of sports performance and handling, seven-seat large SUV space and a leading blend of standard equipment and overall value,” Ms Carrullo said.

“The second-generation Kodiaq RS takes these virtues to a whole new level thanks to an even sportier turbocharged petrol engine and sharper dynamics than the previous RS, combining ideally with the upscale interior and clever three-row packaging of the all-new Kodiaq.

“Combine these attributes with an incredibly high level of luxury and technology specification as standard plus Škoda’s seven-year, unlimited kilometre warranty, and you have a complete seven-seat large SUV package that caters for driving enthusiasts and the whole family alike.”

The Škoda Kodiaq RS features only two options – $1900 panoramic sunroof and $770 Velvet Red premium metallic paint. Moon White, Race Blue, Steel Grey, Graphite Grey, Brilliant Silver and Black Magic are no-cost paint selections.

Škoda is completing a significant new model offensive particularly catering to family customers, with the Kodiaq RS joining the high-value Kodiaq Select and Kodiaq Sportline from this month. In the first half of 2026 the Kodiaq plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) and a new mild-hybrid entry variant will join the range.

Škoda customers will be able to select from the just-released upgraded Enyaq battery electric vehicle (BEV) in five-seat large SUV configuration and the Kodiaq in five- and seven-seat SUV with efficient and RS-performance petrol plus PHEV options for maximum powertrain choice.

A mild-hybrid version of the Octavia medium liftback and wagon, and PHEV version of the Superb large wagon will further add choice for Škoda customers in the first half of 2026.
