DESPITE HAVING NOTHING IN common with the interal combustion model apart from it name, Suzuki’s e Vitara marks the company’s move into a new era. The all-new e Vitara is available for pre-order from $46,990 driveaway.
First introduced with the Suzuki Vitara in the 80’s, a vehicle that helped pioneer the compact 4WD category in Australia by making genuine capability accessible to everyday drivers, Vitara has long stood for practical adventure and trusted performance.
Today, that legacy evolves with the arrival of the all-new Suzuki e Vitara.
As Suzuki’s first fully electric SUV for Australia, e Vitara represents a significant step forward for the brand, bringing together decades of lightweight engineering, real-world usability and dependable performance with advanced electric technology.
Importantly, e Vitara remains true to what has made Vitara a mainstay on Australian roads: capability, efficiency and durability – now reimagined for an electrified future.
For Suzuki in Australia, e Vitara represents the next evolution of a proven nameplate, bringing new customers into showrooms while retaining the trust of existing owners.

PLATFORM AND ENGINEERING
Underpinning the vehicle is Suzuki’s newly developed HEARTECT-e platform, engineered specifically for battery electric vehicles. The platform optimises cabin space, structural rigidity and driving range, while designed to absorb and distribute collision energy, reinforcing occupant safety.
The dual-motor configuration enables precise torque distribution between the front and rear wheels, improving traction and stability across a variety of driving conditions. Drivers can tailor their experience through selectable driving modes, including Normal, Eco and Sport, with additional Snow mode available for two-wheel drive models and Trail mode exclusive to all-wheel drive variants.
