Alfa Romeo raves (endlessly) about new Tonale

WHEN A CAR COMPANY sends out a press release that runs to 8000 words, you wonder just how many features it has to justify so much verbiage.

In the case of the new Alfa Romeo Tonale, we question our need to know that “customers are at the centre of the Alfa Romeo universe”, or even understand what it means when we are told that the Tonale is the first car to be “equipped with an NFT (non-fungible token) digital certificate”.

Life’s simply too short (especially for us over-50s) to wade through the release, and according to Alfa Romeo, we aren’t the target audience anyway (“intended for a young, metropolitan and dynamic customer”) so we thought we’d show you a couple of photos and tell you orders will be open in April.

It has a steering wheel …

… and wheels and tyres …

… and headlights
