WE PRIDE OURSELVES THAT there aren’t many cars we haven’t heard of, even some of the really unusual makes and models from many decades ago. But we have to admit to never having heard of this quite outrageous car.

Delivered to its first custodian in 2022 and finished in the striking and rare Nemesis Green, this is a car of profound rarity and significance. The Rimac Nevera is the world’s fastest accelerating production car. Producing 1914hp (1427kW) and 2340Nm of torque from four electric motors, it reaches 60mph (96.6km/h) in a barely believable 1.74 seconds, achieves 186mph (300km/h) in just 9.22 seconds, and tops out at 258mph (415km/h) – faster than an F1 car in a straight line.
