GENESIS HAS LAUNCHED ITS 2026 G80 model line-up, crowned by the refined and luxurious G80 Black.
The latest G80 continues its elegant design with a sophisticated frontal treatment, and adopts the Signature naming convention, aligning the range with the broader Genesis portfolio.
Three variants are offered; 2.5T rear-wheel drive Signature, 3.5T all-wheel drive Signature Sport, and 3.5T AWD G80 Black, which is based on the Signature grade.
G80 Black represents the ultimate expression of the Genesis Athletic Elegance design identity.
Crafted with precision and guided by a philosophy of continuous refinement, G80 Black is the result of intentional design and unwavering attention to detail.
In practice, this saw designers trial countless black variations for each material, carefully considering how they interacted with light, how they looked in conjunction with other components, and the overall ambience they created.
Naturally, G80 Black is offered exclusively with the monochromatic combination of a Black exterior and black Nappa leather interior.
“The striking new G80 Black brings even greater sophistication and appeal to our sedan line-up,” Head of Genesis Motors Australia, Justin Douglass said.
“With a choice of powertrains and richly equipped grades, and a dramatic new flagship, 2026 G80 will appeal to a broad range of discerning buyers,” he said.

In line with Genesis Motors’ sustainability ambitions, 2026 G80 Black utilises a range of eco-friendly materials.
These include exclusive black quilted leather dyed using carbon black extracted from recycled tires, and other components dyed using natural materials sourced from pine bark, flaxseed oil and rapeseed.
In addition, 20 percent of the yarn used in 2026 G80’s carpets is made from recycled nylon derived from discarded fishing nets, and the floor mats incorporate modal fibre sourced from beechwood.
