MITSUBISHI HAS CONFIRMED pricing for the Triton Raider at $74,990 (plus on road costs).

Developed in conjunction with renowned Australian engineering and manufacturing firm, Premcar, the Triton GSR Dual Cab-based Raider was announced earlier this year as the nameplate’s 2026 model range flagship.

Its formidable road presence isn’t just a tough exterior – Triton Raider’s tried and tested capability is ready to tackle Australia’s unique on and off-road conditions.

“Triton Raider is already breaking new ground for the Mitsubishi brand in Australia,” said Bruce Hampel, GM of Product Strategy at MMAL.

“Early feedback from our dealer network since unveiling has been resoundingly positive, with specific callouts for Raider’s improved wheel control, aggressive styling and off-road performance.

“We are incredibly proud of the product our team has delivered in collaboration with Premcar. Along with our dealer network, we can’t wait for customers to experience the Triton Raider for themselves.”

Triton Raider will be available in all Mitsubishi dealerships by June 2026.

Key specifications

Taking the already-improved 26MY Triton GSR as a base, Premcar completes the Raider’s second-stage manufacturing process in Epping, Victoria. The result is a new Triton range-topper, built with solid Australian engineering experience and expertise to deliver even more capability.

But of course, the modifications made to Triton Raider were thoroughly designed, engineered, developed and tested to deliver on the brief: To bring confidence to every drive – in any conditions, on any surface.

Dynamics tuned for Australian adventures

Led by Premcar’s Senior Engineering Partner Andrew Lynch, the Triton Raider team designed an integrated suspension system that focused on comfort and control, to bring the driver confidence.

A unique front and rear suspension damper package, with the front damper utilising an internal rebound spring to maximise suspension control, was developed for Raider. A front spring and jounce bumper (bump stop) was also deployed.

The result is improved wheel control on a wide variety of surfaces.

After rigorous testing the Premcar engineering team selected the Bridgestone AT002 all-terrain tyres, matched to a heavier-duty ROH ‘Assault’ 18-inch alloy wheel. These wheels are finished in a distinctive Brushed Bronze with specific ‘Raider’ hub caps.

In total, front ride height is increased 25mm (10mm due to the new front springs, and 15mm due to the upgraded wheel/tyre package), while at the rear a 15mm ride height improvement is realised (wheel/tyre).

Front and rear tracks have also increased by 20mm total.

The YAMAHA Performance Damper system which debuted in the 26MY Triton GSR is retained. This horizontally-mounted damper connects to the chassis to further enhance NVH performance.

Expressive exterior combines form and function

The wheel and tyre package adds to the Triton Raider’s imposing exterior presence. Brushed Bronze is also adopted to colour the ‘Sandstorm’ side decals, with Raider badging applied to the rear tailgate.

Other aesthetic pieces were sourced from Mitsubishi Motors’ global catalogue, including the ‘Dark Warm Grey’ front garnish, while the Mitsubishi Genuine Accessories catalogue yielded the upgraded side protection bars and sports bar, with the addition of unique red inserts.

The strengthened underbody protection is also finished in red, with Raider-identifying lettering, while the chrome grille emblem contrasts with the black grille and under garnish.

Four colour options are available at launch: White Diamond, Black Mica, Blade Silver and Graphite Grey.

Bespoke interior additions

Inside, the Triton Raider enjoys all the key equipment found in the top-spec GSR. The black leather seats feature orange stitching, with the addition of Raider branded front headrests and a further Raider badge fitted to the centre console.

Market-leading Mitsubishi aftersales support, with 10/10/10 Diamond Advantage

All Mitsubishi Tritons are covered by Mitsubishi’s new market-leading 10/10/10 Diamond Advantage warranty program.

This comprises a 10-year/200,000-kilometre manufacturer’s warranty, with 10-year Capped Price Servicing and 10-year Roadside Assistance.
