AHEAD OF ITS ARRIVAL in the middle of 2026, Polestar has announced pricing and specs for its Polestar 2 model.

In line with customer preferences for vehicles with a longer driving range, Polestar 2 Standard range Single motor has been removed from the Australian line-up.

Buyers of the Polestar 2 Long range Dual motor with Performance pack gain Pixel LED headlights and a Bowers & Wilkins premium sound system as standard equipment, bringing $5100 (Polestar figures) of extra value.

Pricing for Polestar 2 Long range Single motor, Long range Dual motor, and Long range Dual motor with Performance pack is unchanged.

Upgraded hardware

Polestar 2 gained a number of hardware changes for MY26, which carry over to MY27.

They include a Qualcomm Snapdragon infotainment processor, and a 14-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system with an output of 1350 watts.

The premium Bowers & Wilkins sound system is available as an upgrade on Polestar 2 Long range Single motor and Long range Dual motor, and is standard on Long range Dual motor with Performance pack.

Key features include Tweeter-on-Top technology for improved clarity and accuracy, and Continuum midrange speakers that minimise distortion, delivering a rich audio experience. All Polestar vehicles come with a comprehensive five-year vehicle warranty, and complimentary roadside assist.
